I am not going to go into the history of the development of the Tarot System of Divination in this page.  There are a host of many great books that you can refer to that delve into this subject deeply and thoroughly.  I will provide links to the ones I have studied over the last decade that you might find useful.

There are hundreds, and maybe even thousands, of Tarot systems available online now.  Many Tarot Professionals use these other decks with great Wisdom and effectiveness.  But I have been Guided to use the Thoth Tarot Cards developed by Aleister Crowley, and painted by the amazing artistry of the Lady Freida Harris.  Why?  Because they Speak to me, with their Mystical Beauty and intricate Symbology that point to depths of Spiritual Information about a myriad of levels and depths of Spiritual Truths.

I do not use the term, “a Tarot Reading”, but rather a “Tarot Divination”.  Why?  Because for me, the information and Guidance I share is from a Divine Source, and not from the Astral or Mental levels of Consciousness.  This is totally not a put down or a judgment of professional Tarot Teachers who use the term “reading”.  It’s just my preference.

The Ten Card “Celtic Cross" Layout

There are a host of different templates that can be used to delve into a Querents questions and life issues.  My experience so far is with only a few.  Mainly the 10 Card layout called “The Celtic Cross Layout”, and the 15 Card Layout that is more detailed and makes more use of the relations of the cards, one to another. Thus a card may be well – or ill-dignified depending on the influence of the neighboring cards.  I have recently been introduced to a new layout called the “Light – Shadow Layout” that I really found very helpful.
